A Talk on Ayurveda

Speaker: Ann Revington

Ayurveda is the Mother of all natural health care systems, drawing upon 5,000 years of observation of human existence. Ayurveda is a Sanskrit term meaning the knowledge (Veda) of life (Ayur). Even a basic understanding of this profound system of health gives the ability to detect imbalances at a subtle level greatly reducing the chance of developing disease.

Ann Revington is the director of programs at Sri Sri Ayurveda Center in Saint-Mathieu-Du-Parc, Canada, one of the three main Centers of Art of Living’s Sri Sri Ayurveda around the globe. She has 20 years of experience in Ayurveda, giving treatments, teaching, and training Ayurveda technicians. She has an abundance of knowledge to share on this very vast and profound knowledge system.

Week 1 | Nov 9th | Chakra Meditation – This guided meditation uses a sound at the different energy centers to relax the body and the mind.
Week 2 | Nov 16th | Transforming Emotions – This meditation helps transform negative emotions and stress in our system to peace and relaxation.
Week 3 | Nov 23rd | : Aura Meditation – Cleanses the subtle body (aura) to and calm and calm the mind leading to both relaxation and rejuvenation.
These sessions are open for all and require no prior experience. You can rsvp for one or all the sessions.
