The ThinkQuest International Competition challenges students to solve a problem using their critical thinking, communication, and technology skills. Use the latest technologies and your brainpower to create an entry that demonstrates your skills on an international stage!
The Challenge
- Identify a problem that interests you.
- Unleash your creativity to solve it.
- Present the solution using your choice of technologies.
Competition Opens: September 2011
Events
Compete in one of the following events as an individual or a member of a team:

| Digital Media | Produce an online journal/blog, stand-alone website, photo essay, animation, public service announcement, video, or some combination of these items.

Develop an interactive application or game.
Prepare to enter the workforce with confidence. Gain a competitive edge by building a portfolio that impresses potential employers. |

Team Requirements: 1-6 students and one coach.
How will entries be judged?
Judges will evaluate entries for critical thinking, communication, and technology skills. Additional information will be available when the competition opens.
What are the prizes?
Prize may include:
- Laptop computers
- A cash grant for your school
- Certificates of participation
- Certificates of distinction for top-performing teams
- Cash grants for the top ten schools or organizations that register the most competition participants.
- A trip to ThinkQuest Live in the San Francisco Bay Area, where you will:
- Receive face-to-face mentoring from Silicon Valley experts
- Be honored at a red-carpet gala with dignitaries and executives
- Participate in educational workshops and activities
- Visit fun San Francisco attractions
- Represent your country with distinction
- Develop friendships with peers from around the world
