“You don’t take a photograph, you make it.”
― Ansel Adams
Photography is a technical art, the cumulation of science and imagination, technique and vision. Over the ages, photographs and the people who make them have captured the course of humanity and, in doing so, changed it. With a click of the shutter, you, too, can also affect the future.
In this weeklong workshop, students will learn how to make a photograph. Our teacher, Frank, will teach students how a camera works, how to properly expose images, and how to compose and light a meaningful picture. This course provides hands-on experience, equipping students with crucial knowledge of how to take the perfect photo. Students will use photoshop to edit their photos and make their photographs competition ready. Frank will give them the resources to enter competitions.
