$500 High School Achievement Scholarship

JobApplicationGuide’s Inaugural Scholarship Program

JobApplicationGuide is pleased to announce our first annual scholarship program. As our online reputation continues to grow, it is our goal to give back to the community of people seeking higher education. Effective immediately JobApplicationGuide will be giving away a minimum of $1000 in scholarships annually. It is our goal to grow this annual scholarship fund as we continue to grow as an organization.

ScholarshipsFor our initial scholarship program year we will be giving away two $500 scholarships in 2015.  Entrees must be received before July 15, 2015.  Scholarships will be announced no later than July 31, 2015 in anticipation of the scholarship award being paid out before the beginning of 2015 fall semester.

Our two 2015 scholarships to be award are:

 

$500 High School Achievement Scholarship.

The High School Achievement Scholarship will be given to one high school student who has displayed high achievements in grades and extracurricular activities during their senior year in high school. Applicants should also have a specific financial situation that needs assistance.

Applicants should submit a written submission (600-1200 words) that includes the following:
1. High school attending.
2. GPA and extracurricular activities
3. College attending in Fall 2015
4. Financial needs
5. Detailed description of your high school experience, why you deserve this scholarship and what the college experience will mean to you.
6. At least 1 recommendation letter (one page) from mentor, teacher, coach or active member of your local community.

$500 Adult Extended Education Scholarship

Our Adult Extended Education Scholarship will be awarded to one adult individual who is returning to college in Fall of 2015 and has not graduated from high school in the last 2 years. Applicants should be seeking to start or complete their college education after having taken time off to pursue real world activities or careers. Applications should also display financial need.

Applicants should submit a written submission (600-1200 words) that includes the following:
1. Reasons for returning or beginning pursuit of college education.
2. Description of activities or career since in high school.
3. College attending in Fall 2015.
4. Financial needs.
5. Description of why you are seeking scholarship and what college means to you.
6. At least 1 recommendation letter (one page) from mentor, teacher, coach or active member of your local community.

All submissions should be sent to scholarships@jobapplicationguide.com.

Additional eligibility requirements for both scholarships include:

A. Legal resident of United States.

B. Must be at least 16 years of age at time of application.

C. For High School Achievement Scholarship must have at least a 3.0 GPA during senior year.

D. Must Submit Application before July 15, 2015.

E. Employees of JobApplicationGuide.com, its divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, their law firms, accountants, program administrators, promotional or marketing agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in the same households of each such employee are not eligible.
