Creative writing class for middle school students
给5年级到7年级学生的英文写作课。每周二下午4点到5点。
Goals:
1. Learn the basis of storytelling. 2. Discover their creative side 3. Understand how to write using their 5 senses 4. Demonstrate the ability to create/invent characters 5. Learn how visuals and words work together in a story 6. Understand how to write engaging description 7. Develop strong writing skills’Instructor information:
Background: Sana has a B.A. degree in creative writing and French. She worked in advertising in New York City for a few years before enrolling in graduate school at Columbia University, New York, NY. There, she pursued her MFA in writing with concentration in fiction. She is currently writing a collection of short stories. Her work can be found in various publications and has also appeared in an anthology. She is an essay editor at SpringLight Education and also does one-on-one English tutoring for students in middle and high school. She has previously worked as a College Essay Specialist and her students have been admitted to Stanford, Columbia, USC among others.
