We need teachers for Springlight Education, an education and tutoring center located in the Cupertino. Currently, we need teachers for a range of topics.

Requirements:

• Enjoy teaching, teaching experience preferred.

• Must travel to our office to teach.

• No restrictions on age or educational background unless otherwise noted

We are looking for teachers to teach in the following areas:

• Programming

• Competition math (e.g. AMC)

• Digital art

• Competition/AP science (physics/chemistry/biology)

Programming requirements:

• Must have experience and willingness to teach in one or more languages/areas:

  • Java

  • C++

  • Python

  • Video game design

  • Web design

  • Android/iOS app development

  • USACO (USA Computing Olympiad)

    • Past competitors strongly desired

Competition math requirements:

• Must have willingness to teach AMC/AIME/USAMO competitions.

• Educational requirements:

  • If you are in high school, you must have qualified to USAMO in the past.

  • If you are in college/graduate student/adult, you must be majoring or have majored in math. Past competition experience preferred, but not required.

Digital art requirements:

• Must have experience and willingness to teach in one or more areas:

  • Graphic Design

  • 3D Design

  • Photography

• Portfolio required

Competition/AP science (physics/chemistry/biology) requirements:

• Must have willingness to teach Honor/ AP or Olympiad competitions in following subjects:

  • Physics

  • Chemistry

  • Biology

• Educational requirements:

  • Past competition experience (not limited to United States academic competitions)

  • OR majoring/majored in physics, chemistry, or biology.
